چکیده

Ship collisions are one of the most common types maritime accidents. Assessing frequency and probability ship is great importance as it provides a cost-effective practical way to mitigate risk. In this paper, we present review quantitative collision estimation models for waterway risk assessment, accompanied by classification description their main modelling characteristics. Models addressing macroscopic perspective in on waterways reviewed paper with total 29 models. We extend existing methodology group collected accordingly. Special attention given criteria used detect potential candidates, well causation correlation real statistics. Limitations future improvement possibilities discussed. The can be guide understanding current achievements field.

Risk assessment of ship/platform collision

Although there have been few collisions between ships and offshore installations, the grave consequences of such a collision has provoked the study of the probability of collision worldwide. A theoretical study is undertaken on the assessment of risk of collision in this paper. The causes of collision and the models of evaluating the risk collision are reviewed, which are then followed by some ...
